We are seeking a highly skilled Database Analyst 3 to join our team at The University of Miami. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts related to admission processes, student services functions, and course and curriculum issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a systematic data collection plan to ensure accurate and timely data for easy access and reporting.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director of Student/Post-Graduate Support Services, Recruiter, Business System Analyst, and other key personnel to maintain current, thorough, and accurate data.
  • Coordinate the compilation of data for yearly surveys and ensure reports are completed by deadlines set by the Executive Director.
  • Run weekly admission numbers to compare the current term to the previous year.
  • Use OSS databases and CaneLink, Data Warehouse, and other University systems to retrieve student data and construct various reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, higher education, research and evaluation, or a related field.
  • Approximately three years of experience in higher education, particularly in academic administration, computer systems operations, database construction, and data analysis and program evaluation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn, implement, and fully-utilize new database and data analysis software.
