Position Overview:
The Patient Registration Representative plays a crucial role in the healthcare process by ensuring a seamless registration experience for patients at United States Steel Corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance activities.
- Conduct interviews with patients and their guarantors to gather essential information.
- Establish a welcoming atmosphere for patients and external stakeholders.
- Operate under the guidance of the Site Manager or Supervisor of Patient Access Services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of clerical experience within the past 3 years.
- Completion of a data entry assessment is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of registration experience at United States Steel Corporation within the last 3 years.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $19.39 to $28.92 per hour, determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
Department: DMH Admissions
Grade Level: C6
Work Schedule: Variable hours may be required.
Weekend/Holiday Availability: Scheduling may necessitate availability on weekends and holidays.
