Key Responsibilities:
This role is classified as an Assistant Manager in Training, non-exempt/hourly during the training phase. Upon successful completion of training, the classification will transition to exempt/salary, and the title will be updated to Assistant Manager of Operations.
In the absence of the Center Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the donor center. You will be proficient in all facets of the donor collection process.
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations and practices concerning the quality and safety of products, donors, and employees.
Collaborate with center leadership to formulate action plans aimed at enhancing center efficiency.
Manage all personnel functions, including recruitment, work assignment, training and development, disciplinary actions, and maintenance of personnel records.
Assess and adjust inventory levels of all necessary goods and supplies for the donor center's operations.
Prepare and submit accurate reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required.
Work with the training department to ensure staff training is effectively facilitated and training objectives are achieved.
Develop and execute active donor recruitment advertising strategies to boost production levels.
Foster talent development within the donor center and participate in the selection process for new staff.
Engage in the interviewing process for center staff and assist in their selection.
Collaborate with staff, peers, and management to meet business objectives, maintaining open communication and proactively resolving conflicts.
Provide timely performance feedback and initiate disciplinary actions when necessary.
Participate in the evaluation and review of center staff performance.
Oversee and assess the performance of external vendors.
Maintain thorough knowledge and compliance with all relevant regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and internal company policies.
Ensure confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information is upheld.
Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions with donors, employees, and vendors.
Demonstrate the ability to accept performance feedback constructively.
Regular attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings are essential.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role, preferably within a regulated industry, or an Associate's Degree in Science or Business Management.
Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and communicate verbally.
- Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above and below shoulder height.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, up to four (4) hours at a time.
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Typical work environment with moderate noise levels.
- May be exposed to cold temperatures for brief periods.
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
