As an Advanced Radiology Technologist Assistant, you will be present on-site, performing a diverse range of essential tasks, including clerical, technical, and patient-related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist radiology technologists in delivering a comprehensive array of healthcare services.
- Manage patient check-in, review exams, prepare for visits, educate patients, assist with examinations and procedures, and transport patients.
Essential Functions:
- Exhibit proficiency in job-related skills relevant to various patient populations and departmental services.
- Oversee the administration, coordination, and evaluation of patient registration.
- Welcome visitors and patients, guiding them through the check-in and check-out processes, including insurance verification and informing them of care costs.
- Provide quality customer service, clearly explaining procedures to patients.
- Position patients with care, ensuring their comfort and privacy.
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with dressing and positioning.
- Interact compassionately with individuals ranging from healthy to critically ill.
- May be required to initiate IVs, following established guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
License/Certification: CPR Certification (preferred), Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assisting Certificate.
Physical Demands:
This role may involve lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, and frequent standing and walking.
Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs, depending on departmental requirements.
