Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GI Endoscopy Nurse to join our team at Coral Ridge Outpatient Center. As a GI Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced endoscopy suite, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure accurate and efficient patient preparation, positioning, and recovery.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize surgical processes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Florida Nursing License.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of GI experience, with a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teaching skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
