Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a Staff Nurse (R.N.), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria of patients served.
  • Direct and supervise the performance of duties by subordinates, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Administer medication and monitor side effects, while maintaining accurate medical record documentation.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families, demonstrating sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultures and their practices.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility treating co-occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with understanding of co-occurring disorders, and Cultural Linguistic Diversity amongst patients.
  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current Florida Driver's License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
