Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to join our team at Goldkine. Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing and Packaging: Perform accurate manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of all products to ensure compliance with company, local, and state policies and procedures and product specifications.
  • Quality Control: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure the safety and efficacy of all products.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and compliant inventory management system.
  • Production Metrics: Accurately track all production metrics.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect and detect quality defects.
  • Facility Sanitation: Maintain a high level of cleanliness of all packaging equipment, production areas, and sanitation practices concerning handling of product according to company procedures.
  • Reporting: Document line inefficiencies and downtime to identify issues and report any potential contamination to the Supervisor immediately.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, proven working experience, excellent time management skills, ability to communicate efficiently, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, visual acuity, depth, and color perception, ability to stand, squat, crawl, or twist, commitment to safety, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and ability to work with a team and independently.
  • Work Schedule: This position will require night shift and weekend shifts. Schedule 1: 8-12 hour shift possible, M-F, weekends with possible overtime. Schedule 2: 12-hour shift, 3-day work week, possible 4 days, M-W, THU-SAT.
