Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

Ascension Sacred Heart is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our lab.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area to ensure optimal patient care.
- Recognize and report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure equipment is properly functioning and locked/tagged out when necessary.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, cleaning, and numbing testing sites as required.
- Review medical history and recognize recording errors, artifacts, and react appropriately.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
