Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role is pivotal in ensuring that both Customer and Supplier expectations are fulfilled through proficient oversight of personnel, systems, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

· Oversee the management of inbound and outbound EDI, addressing errors and verification of accumulations.

· Handle DELFOR, DELJIT, APERAKS, CONTROL, & INVRPT processes.

· Enter manual Customer orders into the QAD system.

· Develop and confirm customer shipping schedules.

· Administer Customer Websites and platforms such as eSupplier Connect, PC Portal II, SMART, Covisint, GM Supply Power, SPOC, TOMS, Vascor, etc.

· Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) is attained when Customer requirements arise.

· Monitor and uphold Customer delivery performance metrics.

· Strive for Customer satisfaction by analyzing, comprehending, and conveying their needs, ensuring these are integrated into production planning.

· Collaborate in the creation of shipments.

· Maintain organized records for Customer Orders.

· Confirm receipt or non-receipt of materials in case of disputes with Customers.

Material Scheduling:

· Release all procured items to both internal and external Suppliers.

· Dispatch weekly MRP releases to all Suppliers.

· Coordinate with the Management Team regarding the flow of materials to and from Suppliers.

· Maintain optimal inventory levels to effectively support manufacturing, packaging, or shipping needs.

· Ensure that engineering modifications (SWONECS) are managed effectively.

Additional Duties:

· Update and maintain daily reports generated from QAD and distribute as necessary.

· Undertake additional tasks as directed by Management.

· Adhere to safety protocols in all operations, in accordance with AGS Health & Safety, Environmental, and Housekeeping Policies.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:

High School Diploma, one year of experience in Materials, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems; experience with QAD is preferred.
