Healthcare Supervisor

The Kheir Clinic (FQHC) is seeking a skilled Healthcare Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our health centers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing workflow, ensuring quality patient care, and providing support to medical providers.
Responsibilities- Oversee health center operations to ensure compliance with established performance metrics.
- Take a leadership role in managing back-office workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a role model in providing high-quality care.
- Ensure that all back-office staff perform in compliance with organizational policies related to PCMH clinical and administrative guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and activities, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Collaborate with onsite leadership to provide front-line support in addressing patient needs and complaints.
- Mitigate, manage, and communicate significant clinical findings to providers as needed.
- Hire, counsel, evaluate, and terminate Medical Assistants as required.
- Lead ongoing training and review of MAs on EHR, documentation, procedures, protocols, and MA skills and performance abilities.
- Assist providers and MAs in examination/procedure rooms as needed.
- Assess and schedule back-office MA staff accordingly, covering absences, illnesses, and breaks.
- Provide feedback and observations to Management for corrective actions as needed.
- Current California LVN license and CPR certification.
- Minimum 5+ years of LVN experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use tact, discretion, and sensitivity when interacting with patients.
- Experience in a community clinic environment a plus.
- Proficiency in Korean or Spanish language.
- Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
