Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at the Sunray Healthcare Center. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working on NOC shifts with weekends, requiring a commitment of approximately 36-40 hours per week. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to our residents, including vital sign checks, wound dressing, and catheter insertion.

You will also be required to listen to residents' concerns, address questions and provide accurate charting of resident progress notes. Additionally, you will timely report any changes in residents' conditions to the nurse supervisor and assist CNAs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a valid LVN license in good standing, CPR and BLS certification, and IV certification is a plus. A minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience is preferred, and you must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including vital sign checks, wound dressing, and catheter insertion.
  • Listen to residents' concerns and address questions.
  • Accurately chart resident progress notes.
  • Timely report any changes in residents' conditions to the nurse supervisor.
  • Assist CNAs as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid LVN license in good standing.
  • CPR and BLS certification.
  • IV certification (optional).
  • Minimum of 1 year of skilled nursing experience (preferred).
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
