Role Summary
The Construction Superintendent will possess extensive onsite construction expertise and will be adept at managing the comprehensive operations of the job site. This pivotal role requires effective communication with various key stakeholders, including project owners and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of construction professionals, managing work schedules, project advancement, and resource distribution.
- Assist in preparing cost assessments for labor, materials, supplies, and other project-related expenses.
- Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management personnel to establish budgetary constraints and timelines.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment with suppliers and vendors.
- Develop schedules for workers and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency.
- Recruit additional subcontractors and allocate tasks accordingly.
- Maintain a daily log of job site activities, providing reports to management as required.
- Adjust operations as necessary to effectively meet construction deadlines.
- Implement management strategies that are both cost-effective and efficient.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a construction setting.
- Demonstrated history of successful project management.
- Proficient in interpreting construction documents.
- Knowledgeable about regulatory construction standards and safety protocols.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000.
