Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local and state plumbing codes.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and configuration of plumbing systems.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete plumbing projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-trade projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times.
  • Mentor and supervise apprentices and helpers within the prefabrication shop.
  • Provide excellent customer service to field and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of [3-5] years of experience working as a Journeyman Plumber.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work full-time hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the plumbing trade.
