Your Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Recovery Room Nurse to join our team at Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
">Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on the standards of care and policies of LCMC Health. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to identify actions to improve patient care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
">In addition, you will:
">- ">
- Facilitate and maintain a safe environment for patients and others.">
- Develop and deliver a plan of care for assigned patients.">
- Perform priority technical procedures required by the area, department, and/or assignment safely, effectively, efficiently, and legally.">
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, resource availability, customer/patient preference/request, and other departmental needs.">
- Communicate using appropriate channels, proper hand-off, and escalation of information, data, and significant events or problems to appropriate persons.">
- Keep patients informed and give periodic updates as appropriate.">
- Actively promote and support LCMC Health's performance improvement initiatives.">
- Continuously display a positive attitude that contributes to patient satisfaction and utilize the service recovery process to address patients' concerns or complaints.">

Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:
">- ">
- A valid license or temporary permit to practice professional nursing in Louisiana.">
- American Heart Association BLS-HCP certification.">
- Maintained physical requirements- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.">
- Sensory Requirements: Near Vision - Accurate 20/40, Far Vision - Accurate 20/40, Depth Perception - Accurate, Hearing - Accurate.">

Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
