EMS Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMS Adjunct Instructor to join our team at AMR Corp. as a part-time instructor for various EMS courses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality educational content for EMS courses, including skill labs and patient care scenarios.
- Ensure that instruction is current and aligned with national standards and evidence-informed practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Evaluate students in all three domains (cognitive, psychomotor, and affective) and provide feedback as needed.
- Supervise students in clinical areas as scheduled and maintain positive working relationships with staff and students.
- Remain current with State and local EMS requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain Instructor status for standardized courses as required.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships within the organization based on experience and feedback obtained.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a field/clinical setting as an EMT or Paramedic.
- Experience as an adjunct instructor preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Completion of an approved Instructor course preferred.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Instructor of either PALS or PEPP or EPC preferred.
- NREMT certification preferred.
- AHA BLS Instructor certification preferred.
- AHA ACLS Instructor certification preferred.
- PHTLS or ITLS Instructor certification preferred.
