Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Representative to join our team at RadNet. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and collecting co-pays and fees.

Your Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
  • Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
  • Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service
  • Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

What We Offer

RadNet offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
