Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Kavaliro. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective transfer of product designs to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a liaison between Engineering product development teams and Manufacturing to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Support continuous improvement through the use of Lean principles to drive quality and productivity improvement projects.
- Participate and drive New Product Introduction activities by providing comprehensive documentation and schedule requirements for new products released to manufacturing.
- Work with engineering teams to create and support IQ, OQ & PQ processes and required documentation of New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Develop production tooling using SolidWorks CAD software.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve quality, increase productivity, and reduce costs in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide daily production sustaining and support for existing products.
- Test and recommend new equipment, processes, and technologies to produce optomechanical and electrical systems.
- 8+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibilities.
- BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience implementing foundational Lean Enterprise tools: Takt time, 8 Wastes, 5S, Standard Work, 1-Piece Flow, and Kaizen event participation.
- Strong engineering aptitude with ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Experience working with manufacturing part flow of electrical and opto-mechanical components and systems is a plus.
