Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at our Beaver Dam, WI clinic. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including scanning documents into the electronic health record and maintaining the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter.
  • Greets patients, checks them in for appointments, and verifies their insurance information.
  • Checks schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments throughout the day and schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record, orders clinic office supplies, and sells and tracks cosmetic products.
  • Distributes mail and prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and able to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred.
  • Must possess attention to detail and be able to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
