Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Librarian in providing library media services, including cataloging, shelving, and maintaining a well-organized library environment.
  • Support students, staff, and parents with research, technology, and instructional needs.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote literacy, technology, and information literacy skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate library media services into curriculum and instructional activities.
  • Provide training and support to students, staff, and parents on library media software and technology.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • One year of experience working directly with students in a high school setting preferred.
  • Associate degree in Library Science preferred.
