Position Summary

The Concession Stand Grill Chef plays a crucial role in crafting delicious food items served at our concession stands. This position entails ensuring food safety and maintaining cleanliness, while also assisting with various tasks such as restocking supplies, preparing both cold and hot food items, and upholding a sanitary workspace in accordance with health regulations.


Key Responsibilities

The Grill Chef is tasked with preparing food that not only meets but exceeds guest expectations, aligning with Craft Culinary Concepts' standards and objectives. The role typically involves working with grills, convection ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment. Effective communication regarding inventory levels and preparation times with the Stand Manager is essential to meet guest needs. Maintaining a clean work area and assisting in the overall cleanliness of the concession stand is expected, ensuring compliance with health standards. Additionally, the Grill Chef is encouraged to relay guest feedback and suggestions to enhance service quality and drive sales.


Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Possession of a valid TEAM or TIP certification card.
  • Valid County Food Handler Card required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred unless currently enrolled.
  • Completion of pre-employment forms and successful background check.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Proficiency in the primary language used by guests.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Preferred experience of 6 months to 2+ years in food preparation within a similar setting.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and attentive listening.

Additional Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to stand and maintain mobility for the entire shift, up to 8 hours.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, confined environment.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to endure extreme temperature changes and high noise levels.
