About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at ASM Company. As a key member of our Global Sales and Services business unit, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers in expanding ASM film opportunities on our installed products.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Develop expertise on newly developed deposition processes and hardware, and own the introduction/transfer of these processes to the customer site.
  • On-site Process Development: Support customer deposition processes and hardware development, and work closely with the customer to design and conduct experiments to meet their needs.
  • HVM Process Transfer: Responsible for process transfer to HVM fabs and transfer of product knowledge to the local service organization.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics, and equivalent combination of education and experience. You should have good knowledge of and experience with semiconductor device applications, vacuum techniques, film characterization and metrology techniques, and thin film ALD deposition processes and equipment.

Strong experience with advanced troubleshooting/structured problem analysis methodologies and designing and conducting experiments is also required. Ability to travel, as necessary, to the Business Unit for training and technical engagement, as well as to the Customer sites, is a must.
