Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facility system maintenance and design, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage design with National Electrical Codes (NFPA & International Code Council) and assure design documents are prepared in compliance with these codes.
  • Provide engineering support in areas of expertise and be able to work effectively as a team player with other engineering professionals, crafts trades personnel, management, business developers, and administrative staff.
  • Plan and prepare for first-time use and maintaining facility systems for spent fuel handling operations.
  • Design facility equipment and procedures associated with startup and maintenance of new facilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science-related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science-related field.
  • Familiarity with electrical trade work and equipment installations.
  • SKM or ETAP software experience.
  • Power systems focus in undergraduate degree.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with teams.
  • Participation in large-scale construction projects.
  • Familiarity with electrical power diagrams and schematics.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 & 70E and familiarity with other industry building codes.
