As a Cloud Operations Engineer, your core responsibilities will encompass the development of Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines, implementing code to capture essential metrics, and establishing secure and efficient build processes.

Your duties will also include the creation and maintenance of automated microservice deployments to
AWS (GovCloud/IL–5) environments utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IAC) frameworks.

This role will require you to support the DevOps pipeline to automate production deployments and engage in planning, coordinating, scheduling, and directing technical support activities relevant to the migration of DevSecOps pipelines and microservices onto
AWS.

You will collaborate closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure a seamless, efficient, and error-free software development lifecycle.

Additionally, you will take part in government oversight of contractor software development activities as a contributing team member in agile development practices such as scrums and sprint reviews.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role requiring some days on-site and some days remote.

The position is based at a satellite office, offering a flexible hybrid remote schedule with adaptable start and end times each day. There may be occasions when travel to various sites is necessary.


This role supports a program focused on Space and Cyber under the Electronic Warfare and Cyber (EW&C) Program, a contract that has been successfully secured multiple times over the past decade.

We have recently won the re-compete, ensuring continued work on this program.
