Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Analyst to support the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide services to include programmatic/business management, engineering support, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition/administrative support to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and assess engineering metrics to provide data-driven guidance on decisions concerning engineering initiatives.
  • Recommend and propose improvements in engineering project/operation based on findings from analysis.
  • Develop and generate reports, create visualizations, and utilize forecasting models to convey findings to relevant stakeholders in the engineering department.
  • Pinpoint potential sources of data sourced from engineering projects.
  • Develop connections to new data sources and efficiently ingest data into current pipeline frameworks.
  • May assist in monitoring project progress to ensure that project milestones are being met in accordance with established schedules.
  • May analyze technical components to anomalies in project analysis.
  • May collaborate with engineers and program managers to establish project milestones and requirements for project success.
  • Has experience in coordinating with various individuals such as program and project leaders to analyze system and/or product architecture, design, coding, and performance.
  • Able to identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues. Is able to conduct trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues.
  • Has demonstrable skills in resolving problems as related to their field.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Years of experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
