Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Caregiver to join our team. As a Support Caregiver, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to live well and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and their goals are achieved
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the care team to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals
  • Document and report on individual progress and any concerns or issues that may arise

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
