The Role
This full-time position involves cultivating relationships with general contractors and framers, especially in the multi-family space, to drive sales growth and meet annual targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales goals by developing new business through lead generation and prospecting.
- Monitor account performance and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate product shipments and work closely with logistics and account management teams.
- Conduct market research to inform pricing and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to align supply with customer demand.
Requirements
- A proven track record of sales success, preferably 10 years in the building materials or construction industries.
- Established relationships with general contractors or framers, especially in the multi-family space (preferred).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Growth-oriented, self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools; a 4-year degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- A competitive commission-based pay structure with an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 based on performance.
