Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) Group, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks requiring mechanical and fabrication, assembly, and test skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing and Assembly: Manufacture spacecraft, spacecraft subsystems, and flight hardware components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with work instructions and other documentation.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test spacecraft, spacecraft subsystems, and flight hardware components and assemblies, including test setup, execution, and result reporting.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Build, operate, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical ground support equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Inventory and Inspection: Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Collaborate with engineers to identify, define, and solve problems, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
  • Teamwork and Continuous Improvement: Work in a team-centered environment, implementing Continuous Process Improvement to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Must have a TS security clearance at a minimum to start, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance.
  • Education and Experience: Demonstrated ability to assemble complex mechanical and electrical components into a final product, with experience in spacecraft or missile assembly, environmental test, and launch operations.
  • Skills and Certifications: Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, ability to obtain solder certification, and experience with overhead crane operations, personal aerial lifting devices, and forklift operations.
