Assembly Technician Job Summary

EFCO LLC is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in assembling and installing materials, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install door hardware and test as required
  • Structural weld parts
  • Comply with safety, quality, and productivity requirements and procedures
  • Regular/dependable attendance required
  • Flexibility of work hours including overtime
  • Use of hand tools and machinery is required
  • Must be able to work well with little or no supervision
  • Participates in WWS's Continuous Improvement efforts by understanding his/her team's performance and actively implementing and supporting process improvements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • 0-1 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment:

The associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock, vibration, and seasonal high/low temperatures and humidity. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, requiring hearing protection.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, talk, hear, and move about the facility
  • Frequently required to walk
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, occasionally push up to 54 pounds and pull up to 54 pounds
