Cardiac Sonographer Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound testing equipment to evaluate the heart during Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and Cardiac Stress testing examinations.
* Demonstrate expertise in non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams, showcasing a deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, exam procedures, and result interpretation.
* Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Utilize the hospital's electronic medical record to review patient information and document critical findings.
* Participate in on-call hours to ensure seamless patient care.

**Requirements:**

* Associate's degree in an applied health science field with a concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography, or a related field (preferred)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
* Registration in echocardiography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) (required)
* Minimum one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (preferred)
* Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred)
