About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences for customers
  • Execute cash handling to standards and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our rewards program and assist with enrollments
  • Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey and encourage feedback
  • Participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return and go-back process
  • Support shrink and safety programs to maintain a secure and safe shopping environment
  • Assist with omnichannel processes to ensure seamless customer experiences across all channels
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions to meet their needs
  • Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Cross-trained in custom framing sales and production
Requirements
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
Work Environment

This role is based in a public retail store setting, with all public areas being climate-controlled. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses, and work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
