Role Summary:
The Lead Risk Analyst for Business Unit is a pivotal role that may involve individual contributions or leadership of a small team dedicated to evaluating the operational risks associated with their respective business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control Assessment: Conduct thorough control testing and oversee all regulatory and audit inquiries. This includes coordinating and preparing necessary documentation for audits and examinations, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines, and reporting any findings to management.
  • Policy Management: Monitor and interpret policies and procedures relevant to the assigned business line, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency while managing operational risks. Collaborate with business units to ensure adherence to policies and federal regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide education and training to business units regarding risks that may impact their operations. Ensure that compliance training requirements are effectively communicated and fulfilled.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Technology or Risk Management, with a minimum of 10 years in the field and at least 5 years dealing with financial, regulatory, and audit matters.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in developing and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures, alongside 6 years of experience leading significant projects.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in audit practices, particularly in preparing audit materials and managing third-party/vendor relationships.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.
