Position Summary:
We are seeking a Fiber Optics Transmission Researcher to enhance our team in driving forward our optical technologies. This role is pivotal in supporting our growth by focusing on the design and evaluation of fiber-optic transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in optical fiber technology, emphasizing data transmission for both transport and sensing applications.
- Design, assemble, and assess the performance of fiber-based technologies.
- Contribute to external publications and foster intellectual property development through customer interactions.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient knowledge in waveguide photonics, transmission theory, and systems architecture.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, evidenced by previous publications or presentations.
- Practical laboratory experience with optical components and fibers.
- Background in photonics and optics, particularly with optical fibers.
- Skills in lab automation and computer applications.
- Ability to conduct optical simulations effectively.
- Quick learner with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to safety protocols.
