We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Watlow, a global technology and manufacturing leader. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing skilled general maintenance duties to include maintenance for machines, building and property.
Key Responsibilities:- Limited electrical troubleshooting, repair and installation of motor controls, fuses and circuit breakers, etc.
- Trouble shoot, repair and install complex machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
- Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc. Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
- Schedule and perform detailed preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including SMT placement machines, wave solders, selective solder systems, etc., Follow manufacture recommended procedures to successfully keep our equipment in world class condition.
- Limited Repair and installation of pipes and plumbing that carry gas, water, vacuum, air or misc. hydraulic oils.
- Limited repair and installation of electrical wiring in facility for low voltage (includes computer & phone lines)
- Repair, and improve facility buildings grounds and equipment.
- Refurbish production equipment, detailed cleaning, painting, replace worn parts, calibrate to make machines in a "like new condition"
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Two-year industrial maintenance degree or Technical Certificate or 3-5 years of experience.
- High voltage electrical knowledge
- Forklift or scissor lift experience
- Leadership training
