Automotive Technician

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Hicksville Mall, NY area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
• State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.
