About the Early Immersion Program

The Hartford's Early Immersion Program is an exceptional opportunity for high-achieving college sophomores to explore internships and career opportunities in the insurance industry.

Requirements
  • Sophomore level class standing (2027 graduation date)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Record of high achievement, self-motivation, ability to multi-task, and a strong work ethic
  • Availability to commit to three consecutive dates in June
  • Interest in any of the following career fields: Actuarial Science, Claims, Finance, Investment Management, Marketing, Operations, Technology & Data, Risk Management, Underwriting, or other insurance-related careers
Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency, and demonstration of competencies required for the role.

The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
