Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute key account plans, including relationship maps, dashboards, objectives, and performance measures.
  • Build and manage executive-level relationships within our strategic customers, fostering working relationships throughout their organization.
  • Extract best overall long-term value from our relationships with customers and markets.
  • Support multiple company site sales and organic growth activities related to our customers and platforms.
  • Identify and exploit opportunities to leverage scale to deliver organic growth opportunities and/or smoother transitions.
  • Provide an impartial voice of the customer role and develop a deep understanding of our customers' organization, processes, and behaviors.
  • Maintain and prioritize year-round contact at all levels of our customers' organization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between our customers and the company for all matters related to the customer/platform/market.
  • Act as a company advocate, educating our customers about who we are and the value we bring to customers.
  • Coach and coordinate site teams/management on responsiveness, relationships, communications, and timing.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the business is aware of contractual requirements and customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a business discipline and 10 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in a business discipline and 12 years of relevant experience, or 15 years of relevant customer relations experience in the aviation/aerospace field.
  • Familiarity with power-by-hour contracts.
  • General awareness/understanding of customers' aftermarket requirements.
  • Aviation/Aerospace/OEM/Mfg industry experience.
  • Senior-level relationship-focused sales experience with travel.
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally 60-80%.
