The Customer Service Associate plays a pivotal role in facilitating the daily operations at Banneker Supply Chain Solutions Inc. This position is integral in managing orders directed to the warehouse and overseeing the majority of interactions between the warehouse, various departments, and end-customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, the CSA is tasked with:
- Order Management: Allocating orders, releasing tasks to the warehouse floor, and balancing workflow to ensure efficient operations.
- Communication: Handling a high volume of phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries related to advanced shipment notifications, order requests, and status updates.
- Coordination: Collaborating with the Supply Chain Department and suppliers to provide timely updates on product statuses and changes to customer orders.
- Customer Relations: Maintaining positive relationships by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Documentation: Logging and tracking requests, updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and ensuring accurate invoicing through customer activity reports.
- Operational Support: Working closely with the operations department to guarantee timely service execution and managing scheduled and unscheduled deliveries.
- Feedback Reporting: Communicating customer feedback to management, particularly any signs of dissatisfaction.
- Training and Guidance: Providing training and support to team members while managing day-to-day responsibilities.
The CSA is also responsible for maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and participating in the company's EHS program.
Continuous ImprovementContributing to compliance with Quality Management System certifications and engaging in initiatives aimed at driving continual improvement within the organization.
This role is essential in ensuring that Banneker Supply Chain Solutions Inc. delivers exceptional service and maintains strong customer relationships while effectively managing operational needs.
