About the Role

We are recruiting for a Community Health Worker to support our Maternity Support Services (MSS) Program in Seattle, WA. This grant-funded, temporary position focuses on early relational health in the 0-5 age group and provides community resources and connections.

Key Responsibilities
  • We will schedule appointments, maintain client charts, enroll clients in the program, and respond to phone calls and questions about the program.
  • We will follow up with clients in their homes and deliver basic health messages, ensuring they utilize medical care and other community resources effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of experience working with childbearing families is necessary.
  • This role requires Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire date and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid WA State Driver License, and auto insurance are required.
