As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of duties that align with the scope of practice and professional standards of nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN will perform professional role functions, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • The RN will demonstrate a strong understanding of the scope of practice, professional standards, and accreditation/regulatory standards, and will be able to use a population-based approach to determine patient needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet the needs of patients and the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current CA RN license required
  • Current BLS required (American Heart Association only)
  • Current ACLS required for experienced Critical Care Nurse, within 3 months of hire for non-critical care experience.
  • Current NIHSS required within 6 months of hire
  • Experience and/or training preferred, if acting as charge nurse.
