Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Services team at Redlands Community Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Meet all job and physical requirements as outlined in the job description or as agreed through a workplace accommodation.

Requirements:

  • Current CA State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current CPR American Heart Association certification.
  • Current ACLS American Heart Association certification.
  • Successful passing of RCH basic arrhythmia recognition exam.
  • Current PALS American Heart Association certification preferred upon hire, required within 2 months of hire.
  • Current MAB or CPI (non-violent crisis protection/intervention) required within 1 month of hire.
  • Current NIHSS certificate preferred upon hire, required within 1 month of hire.
  • 3 years of acute-care RN experience with minimum of 1 recent year in Emergency or ICU (within 4 years) required.

Working Conditions:

This position is expected to float to Medical/Surgical, Spine & Joint Institute, Telemetry, ICU, Emergency, Observation, PACU, Surgery Prep, and the Transitional Care Unit. Float differential is not applicable.
