Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler to collaborate with our team and a prominent technology client on a large-scale data center construction initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in scheduling, working alongside cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive construction schedules for both new builds and renovations of existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Frequent travel to construction sites is anticipated.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
  • Create and maintain detailed construction schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and Tableau across multiple projects.
  • Ensure timely feedback of schedule-related data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors into planning systems.
  • Implement project planning and scheduling strategies, aligning with both company and contractor expectations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to uphold schedule integrity.
  • Provide quality assurance and interface with project functional groups regarding schedule performance tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate and consolidate various schedule inputs into a master schedule platform, delivering project status reports as required.
  • Prepare and update progress reports for clients, contributing to monthly project reports and specific presentations.
  • Generate high-level and detailed look-ahead schedules from Primavera P6 for reporting purposes.
  • Conduct probabilistic analysis on integrated and contractor schedules.
  • Monitor and communicate potential project issues that may impact the schedule.
  • Perform critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments for the overall project.
  • Analyze deviations from the baseline schedule, identifying bottlenecks and proposing corrective actions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in mission-critical environments is preferred, including commissioning activities.
  • Site-level construction experience is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in construction program delivery.
  • Extensive experience in creating and managing large-scale construction schedules using Primavera P6.
  • A background in project controls is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and sequencing is required.
  • Ability to work independently is crucial.
  • Proficient in developing detailed schedules from limited project information, identifying major phases and dependencies.
  • Collaborate closely with various project disciplines to ensure schedule accuracy while maintaining independence as a scheduler.
  • Knowledge of system start-up sequences and major dependencies is beneficial.
  • Capable of converting data into Tableau reports and visualizations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential.
  • A BS Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience is required.
  • PSP certification by AACE in planning/scheduling is a plus.
  • EIT certification is preferred.
Additional Information:

The salary range for this full-time position is $105K-$175K per year, reflecting a commitment to fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
