Certified Nursing Aide

The Certified Nursing Aide is responsible for delivering essential daily healthcare and support services to each assigned resident, adhering to their individual assessment and care plan, and following directives from the supervising nurse.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of employment
  • Completion of 70 hours of Basic Training within 120 days of employment - applicable for ElderPlace Assisted Living
  • Dementia Specialty Training completed within 120 days of employment - applicable for ElderPlace Assisted Living
  • Mental Health Specialty Training completed within 120 days of employment - applicable for ElderPlace Assisted Living
  • Nurse Delegation training for Nursing Assistants completed within 90 days of employment - applicable for ElderPlace Assisted Living
  • Washington State Food Worker Card obtained within 14 days of employment - applicable for ElderPlace Assisted Living

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 7.5 hours of AIDS-related training completed upon hire - applicable for Providence St. Joseph Care Center and Marianwood
