We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the Telemetry unit at The University of Kansas Health System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care through assessment, accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients.
  • Carry out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population.
  • Coordinate care delivery and education through collaboration with patient, family, and all healthcare team providers to ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
  • Follow organizational policies in providing safe patient care.
Requirements:
  • BSN preferred, minimum requirement is ADN with 2 years or more of experience and must complete BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or eligible required.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.
