Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and troubleshoot customer and company equipment for repairs, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
- Perform repairs or maintenance to customer or company equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Research and interpret components, diagrams, and systems for equipment repairs, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to service, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Review, advise on, and approve trainee progress and work performed, ensuring that our technicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Work independently on assigned tasks, moving between projects as scheduling requires, and utilizing personal and company tools/resources effectively.
- Complete reports, documentation, and other paperwork accurately and on time, maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
- Service Technician training and/or equipment service and maintenance training through accredited technical schools, equipment dealerships, or manufacturer factory training preferred.
- Seven or more years of previous hands-on equipment diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting experience working on construction equipment, including Caterpillar, Deere, Case, Komatsu, etc.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours as required.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and a strong customer service focus.
- Sense of urgency and self-initiative, and the personal drive for success.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment, adhering to all Company and customer safety rules.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and management.
- Must be honest, reliable, and dependable, and display a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work well under occasional pressure or within work standards and deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently and/or with others in a team environment.
- Able to work standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed.
- Pass pre-employment background check, physical exam including drug screen, and meet all physical requirements for the position.
- Able to lift up to 50-80 pounds occasionally.
