We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. The successful candidate will focus on Substance Use Disorder (SUD) billing and play a key role in ensuring accurate and optimized billing for our SUD programs.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical staff to audit records, input data, and maximize reimbursement through efficient billing practices. If you're passionate about making a difference and have a strong attention to detail, this is the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter daily Drug Medi-Cal/MHLA billing in SAGE software.
  • Audit SUD charts to ensure all services are billed and accounted for.
  • Track clinical staff productivity and report progress to the Program Director.
  • Resolve billing issues, correct denials, and follow up on approvals and signatures.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with billing regulations by attending provider meetings.
  • Assist patients with program eligibility and billing inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of SUD billing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and task-oriented.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality rules is required.

Pay Details:

$18.00 to $22.00 per hour
