Job Summary:This is a travel nursing opportunity that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will work in a float pool setting, rotating through various units and providing care to patients with a range of mental health diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal ideation, risk for violence, substance abuse, and borderline personality disorder.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions, including adults, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, suicidal ideation, risk for violence, substance abuse, and borderline personality disorder.
- Work in a float pool setting, rotating through various units and providing care to patients with a range of mental health diagnoses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse aids and mental health specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Use EPIC EMR system to document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and training to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- NE or Compact licensed RN.
- BLS and CPI certification required.
- Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation, with an open-book exam on skills learned.
- Must receive a 90% to pass or will be terminated.
- Flexible to float to multiple facilities if the need arises.
The Lasting Hope Recovery Center is a community-based organization that provides comprehensive care to patients with mental health conditions. The center is located in Eastern Nebraska and is part of a larger healthcare system. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients.
Benefits:- 36 hours per week/12 hour shifts.
- Every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Will float between units here.
- Unit-specific information includes 18 beds on Unit A, 18 beds on Unit B, 14 beds on Unit C, and 12 beds on SCU.
- Ratios: 1:8-9 on A, B, and C / 1:6 on SCU.
The Lasting Hope Recovery Center is a community-based organization that provides comprehensive care to patients with mental health conditions. The center is located in Eastern Nebraska and is part of a larger healthcare system. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients.
Radius Rule: 50 miles and candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
