Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at the Plymouth Wind Energy Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on wind turbine equipment, including climbing towers to inspect and repair components.
• Understand and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical functions of wind turbine generators and associated equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Work a 40-hour work week, with scheduled and unscheduled overtime during peak maintenance periods.

Requirements

• One year of technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or related fields, or equivalent education.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 80 meters.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
