Aquatics Technician Job Description

At Great Wolf Lodge, we're seeking a highly skilled Aquatics Technician to join our team. As a key member of our waterpark operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our aquatic equipment and providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily inspections of waterpark mechanical systems and attractions, identifying and addressing any issues or irregularities.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on aquatic equipment, including pools, pumps, motors, and slides, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Document maintenance actions and monitor system or equipment irregularities that require attention.
  • Work collaboratively with park management, lifeguards, and guests to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or aquatics maintenance.
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and waterpark mechanical operations.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) license.
  • Expertise in hands-on equipment maintenance.
