We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine physician to join our team at MD Staff, LLC in New York. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, and possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent degree.
Job Summary:
As an Internal Medicine physician at MD Staff, LLC, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance. You will also evaluate patients' histories, perform physical examinations, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care, taking into account patients' psychosocial and physical needs
• Collect and record patient information, maintaining complete and accurate medical records
• Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care
• Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
Requirements:
- Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or foreign equivalent
- Residency: Completion of three-year postgraduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers
- Certification: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Licensure: Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure
- Registration: Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Enrollment: Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Technology Comfort: Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office
