Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Applications Consultant to join our dynamic team. This position requires a professional who will serve as an expert in Agfa products, engaging directly with end-user clients. The Applications Consultant will also be responsible for training Key Users, System Administrators, Physicians, and other clinical personnel. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the sales process through demonstrations and workflow assessments. A solid clinical background is essential for success in this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workflow assessments during the implementation phase.
  • Develop a comprehensive testing program with specific procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret test results.
  • Prepare reports on testing programs.
  • Facilitate field-testing of products according to established procedures.
  • Investigate field complaints and provide feedback to the relevant teams.
  • Execute field-testing and report findings to the Application Manager.
  • Propose optimizations for practical workflows.
  • Operate and maintain equipment necessary for validation testing.
  • Support VIP demonstrations and high-level training sessions.
  • Provide administrative support, including logging data, managing shipments, and updating documentation.
  • Ensure the laboratory environment is operational, clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Monitor output quality consistency.
  • Create basic technical notes for field use.
  • Conduct basic training sessions and standard demonstrations.
  • Collect demo samples for training purposes.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with a background as a Medical Technologist, Physician, or Biomedical Engineer.
